The record
Usisipho Nteyi is a performing artist whose foundation is musical theatre and dance. That training taught her how to hold an audience with the body alone, and it is what she carries into every discipline she has taken on since.
She moves between screen, stage and sport without treating them as separate careers. Athletic conditioning gives her the range to meet whatever a sequence asks for, and a 500 hour yoga practice gives her the focus and control to stay grounded when the pressure is highest, which on an action set is most of the time.
Her stunt work earned a Screen Actors Guild nomination for The Woman King, and she plays Savana in the Turbotec short film Unity & Savana, where her performance carried the character well beyond the page.
Away from set she competes and teaches. She was named Face of Fitness in 2023, appeared on the cover of Fitness magazine, and holds an advanced PADI qualification. Whether onstage, onscreen or on the track, the work is the same: turning movement into something an audience feels.
